Case Study 1
EthiScan — Base44 App to Android & iOS + Subscription Setup
Overview:
I helped take EthiScan, a Base44-built product scanning and ethical shopping platform, from an existing web application to successfully launched Android and iOS mobile apps.
The project involved preparing the exported Base44 mobile builds, configuring both app stores, handling store compliance requirements, and implementing the platform-specific subscription setup required for Premium features.
Both the Android and iOS apps were successfully published and made available to users.
Challenge:
EthiScan already had a working Base44 web application with its backend, features, and subscription system.
The goal was to turn the existing product into fully published mobile apps without rebuilding the platform from scratch.
The main challenges were:
- Preparing the existing Base44 project for Android and iOS
- Configuring Google Play and App Store requirements
- Preparing store listings, screenshots, and required assets
- Handling app review and compliance requirements
- Supporting Premium subscriptions across platforms
- Maintaining the existing Stripe subscription flow for the web
- Implementing the required native Apple In-App Purchase flow for iOS
The existing web subscription system used Stripe, but the exported iOS app required a proper Apple In-App Purchase implementation for digital Premium features.

Subscription & Premium Features
The project also required platform-specific subscription handling.
For the web and abdroid application, the existing subscription architecture used Stripe.
For iOS, I implemented Apple In-App Purchase using StoreKit and configured auto-renewable subscription products.
I also connected subscription purchases with the application’s Premium access so users could unlock the appropriate Premium features after a successful purchase.

This allowed the product to maintain its existing web payment flow while using the appropriate platform billing systems for mobile digital subscriptions.

Overview:
The client wanted to transform an existing website into fully functional Android and iOS applications without rebuilding the platform. I converted the website into Flutter-based mobile apps and successfully published them on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Published Health App on Google Play Organization Console
Overview:
Stepaw: Step Tracker is a Health & Fitness app that tracks steps, walking distance, and active calories through Health Connect while helping users support animal shelters through their activity.
The client had already published the app on the Apple App Store and needed help getting the Android version successfully published on Google Play.
Challenge:
The client needed to publish the Android app on Google Play while meeting Google’s requirements for a Health & Fitness app using sensitive Health Connect data.
The app required declarations for:

What I Did:
I handled the complete Google Play publishing process, including:
- Reviewed the client’s app package and publishing assets

- Declared Health Connect permissions for steps, distance, and active calories
